Your fitness routine challenges your body. Restorative practices offer an opportunity to slow down, settle and support your body’s need for recovery. Just as strength and movement have a place in your well-being, so does making time to regulate your nervous system, ease tension and reconnect with yourself.

A sound journey is a live, immersive experience exploring how sound and vibration interact with the body. Through a dynamic soundscape of gongs, chimes, drums and other acoustic instruments, you’ll experience an evolving landscape of vibration, rhythm and silence.

We’ll begin with an introduction to sound therapy, including what it is, how it works and what you can expect. A guided breath meditation will help prepare the body and mind before the sound journey begins.

As the sounds unfold around you, you may notice your breathing soften, physical tension ease, mental activity settle or your awareness shift inward. Everyone experiences sound differently, offering a personal opportunity to discover how your body and mind respond.

What Can a Sound Journey Offer?

  • Nervous system support: An opportunity to move toward a calmer, more settled state.

  • Physical relaxation: Time to ease tension and become more aware of your body's sensations.

  • Mental breathing room: A break from everyday stimulation, constant thinking and competing demands.

  • Greater self-awareness: Space to notice your body's responses and reconnect with your own needs.

  • Restorative balance: Complement your physical activity with time dedicated to relaxation and recovery, supporting a more balanced approach to overall well-being.

What to Expect

Your experience includes an introduction to sound therapy, guided breath meditation, preparation for rest, a dynamic live sound journey and a gradual return afterward.

There is no previous experience with sound therapy or meditation required. Erin will guide you through the experience, explain what to expect and help you feel comfortable before the journey begins.

Following the session, there will be an optional 15 minutes for questions, reflection and community connection, allowing you to transition back into your day at a gentler pace.

This is an opportunity to learn, experience and reflect, while exploring how sound can complement the way you care for your body and mind.

Bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket and water!
